The ground for the seat heater circuit is G106, behind the air filter case. If it does not then check to see if you have any blown fuses. 12 volts comes into the temp gauge and goes thru it to the sensor. Your thermostat is at least a 195 if not 203, so it will run near the high side of the guage, use your scan tool to compare the guage reading to the actual reading. If the fuse is good, connect a jumper between the ignition and the positive side of the gauge. If it works, you need to replace the wire between the ignition and the gauge.
