Overall, the trajectory has been positive over the last 4 years or so. Lots of really legitimately great things happening. The shift to p-shred is concerning but I also don't think the Air Force is going to throw out their enlisted programming force. I'm cautiously optimistic about it I guess. There was briefing floating around from 2012ish when I was looking into the new 1B4X1 AFSC. basically 3DXXX would just transition to 1DXXX. so 3D0X2 would become 1D0X2, 3D1X2 to 1D1X2, and so on. no idea whats happening now.
