ATM9 (SilentGear) Hey so I'm still fairly in beginning game and I wanted to make a decent silent gear pickaxe with the materials im able to gather right now. I have netherite and was wondering if that's a good material to go for, or is there other materials that are fairly simple to gather that is better? For anyone trying to get starlight charging to work, you need 4 blocks of metal (tyrian steel for teir III) 3 blocks out diagonally and two blocks above the charger. My silent gear auto grading setup. One hopper barrel for the catalyst. One hopper barrel for the ingots. One drawer controller with two drawers. Next go to gear and scroll down to where it says "Allow Legacy Material Mixing" and turn it on. Click back then save and close out of the mods files.I see people in threads mention a MAX tier to silent gear materials but I have only seen SSS ingame, is MAX just super rare or an older version of SSS that was changed in an update? No, they aren't. They are two different "Tiers" of grading. Max is the max tier you can grade a material to. SSS is a level below Max.
