All classes are strong and can work good together. I strongly suggest that you read the story on each character and choose whichever class most appeals to you. My Cragheart was a melee/obstacle build, so Stone Pummel was the natural choice, and it is awesome. That said, I think for you there can be a lot of value in going back for Kinetic Assault. Cragheart does not have a lot of access to top action Moves, and it has a fair number of good bottom actions to pair with it. One of the best parts of Gloomhaven is using the enhancement system to build the most benefit we can directly into each class we play. A heads up like 'if you end your turn there, you're going to get hurt' is nice but taking one or two damage should not be a big deal. It honestly didn't come up that much.
