2 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Nov 12, 2017. I recently purchased a used 2009 4010. It was idling too low and cutting off when I bought it. Carried it to a dealer and they adjusted Throttle position sensors. After got back home and rode about 30 minutes, it started idling too high to change gears. Every now and then, it idles correctly.If you wonder why the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT moves in silences even at high speeds, know that it all thanks to its engine. 4010 Mule surging. I have a 2011 mule 4010 that surges at low RPM. it idles ok at start but if i slowly accelerate it gets really sticky and surges. if I floor it it runs great. I have changed out the injectors and cleaned the fuel pump screen. After this, the problem was solved. Before this I changed the fuel pump, cleaned the throttle body, changed spark plugs and nothing.
