How my gearbox rattles when the car is warmed up.Getrag 260 Rear Seal Replacement? long story short i was out a roadtrip today and somehow the car managed to snag the reverse switch wiring and wrap it around the output, damaging the seal in the process so now its pissing out brand new gear oil from the rear seal.Getrag 260 is leaking - but why? When I drive hard on the track, it starts leaking quite badly from inside the bellhousing. The dogleg 265 (M3/M535) gearbox is stout, but the small dogleg 245 (323i) is not going to handle a lot of power.
