2008 420 Rancher ES, less that 50 hours on it. When idle it will shift through the gears just fine. When moving slowly, like creeper slow it will also shift gears. However once you begin moving over 3-MPH or so it will no longer shift. I changed the angle sensor, no luck. But i did ride a ES Rancher and i did love the electric shift, shifted alot smoother then my S model. Just depends more an less on what you want. Remove the shift motor from the lower front of the engine/transmission. (It is very simply to remove with four 10mm bolts). Once you have it off, remove ALL the old, gummy, stiff, grease that is in the shift motor gears. Then replace that grease with a liberal amount of All-temperature White Lithium grease.…
